Any two dimensional measuring tool like a ruler is only an approximation of your size. Across different manufacturers the lasts and patterns vary slightly so sizing may also vary as a result. We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
The Wilton II is Barbour’s updated take on a country classic. Finished in deep olive green rubber with the unmistakable Barbour tartan, this Chelsea style welly blends heritage charm with everyday practicality. The rounded toe and clean silhouette make it easy to wear with jeans, leggings or outdoor layers.
Fully waterproof up to the base of the elasticated side panels, this boot is built for wet weather walks, muddy school runs and rainy city days. A durable cleated rubber sole provides dependable grip underfoot, while the heel kicker allows for easy removal after a long day outside.
Inside, the tartan mesh lining adds a subtle nod to Barbour’s countryside roots, paired with a cushioned insole for comfort throughout the day. Lightweight yet robust, the Wilton II is ideal for year round wear when the forecast looks uncertain.
Founded in 1894 in South Shields, England, Barbour began by supplying oilskin outerwear to sailors, fishermen and dock workers. Over the decades the brand became synonymous with British country life and has held three Royal Warrants. Today Barbour is worn by everyone from farmers and equestrians to festival goers and city commuters, as well as members of the Royal Family. The Wilton II captures that same spirit of practical British style, designed to perform while looking effortlessly classic.

Got these Barbour wellies just in time for festival season, and they didn’t let me down. Kept my feet dry and comfy all weekend. Love the simple design as they go with everything and don’t look too chunky. Worth mentioning the box was a little based in transit, but the boots themselves were fine.
