Slip On Shoes

Men’s slip ons and loafers are typically low fitting shoes that can be worn to either casual or dress occasions depending on the style. They've been popular in American culture for centuries, and can date back as far as the natives who pioneered what we now know as the moccasin. There's much debate about whether it is appropriate for one to wear socks with a slip on, low rise shoe. This is entirely conditional on both your individual taste and the occasion to which you're wearing the shoe. While a dress slip-on shoe should be paired with socks, a boat shoe or moccasin is more versatile and could be worn with or without. As always we recommend pairing any smart or casual men's shoe with trousers or shorts that will draw attention to the shoe. If you pick a plain design, you may wish to build some contrasting colours into your attire in order for it to stand out.
