Built to last and incredibly comfortable
I’ve owned several pairs of Mephisto shoes but the Rainbow is still my favourite. The leather is soft and rich with a proper waxy feel that gives it character. The fit is perfect and the comfort is second to none.
I’ve worn these for full days of walking and they hold up brilliantly. The D-rings make it easy to get the right fit without fussing with the laces too much. The grip on the sole is solid and I feel secure walking on uneven ground.
They look even better with age and work just as well with jeans or cords. If you're after a shoe that does everything and does it well, this is the one.Posted on

Simply the best...
These shoes are built like tanks but feel surprisingly comfy right from the start. The waxy chestnut leather has a rich rugged look that gets even better with age. You can tell they are high quality the moment you take them out of the box with solid construction, clean stitching, and that classic Mephisto feel.
I have worn them on long walks and casual days out and they have held up great with no awkward break in period. The cushioning is top notch and your feet feel supported but not heavy. I also really like the chunky sole since it gives you great grip and durability without feeling too bulky.
They have a cool retro vibe that reminds me of old school hiking shoes mixed with a bit of street style. People have noticed them and asked where I got them which is always nice. They are definitely on the more expensive side but honestly they feel worth every dollar.
