Timeless and iconic, the Barbour Dena Wellington Boot blends traditional British style with dependable practicality. Handcrafted for the wettest of outdoor adventures, it features a tall profile with an adjustable side tab for a comfortable and easy fit. The deep tread lug sole gives secure grip underfoot, while the signature Barbour tartan lining adds a touch of heritage charm.
Barbour’s long history dates back to 1894 in South Shields, where John Barbour first began producing weatherproof outerwear for sailors and fishermen along the North Sea coast. Over the years, Barbour has become synonymous with refined country living, worn by everyone from countryside explorers to members of the Royal Family.
The Dena boot continues that proud legacy, offering both fashion forward appeal and authentic utility. Equally suited to muddy walks in the countryside or rainy days in town, it represents the perfect balance of durability, comfort and classic British elegance.
A true statement of outdoor sophistication from one of Britain’s most respected heritage brands.

Brilliant!
I purchased these Barbour Dena Wellington Boots just before a weekend away in the Cotswolds, and they were perfect from day one. The fit felt supportive around the ankle and calf, and the adjustable side tab helped create a snug, secure feel. Even after a long countryside walk in wet fields, my feet stayed completely dry and comfortable.
What I really like is how stylish they look for a practical boot. The olive colour with Barbour’s signature tartan lining feels understated yet unmistakably British. They have that premium, heritage feel that Barbour is known for, yet they still look modern enough to wear in town on a rainy day.
The chunky tread gives great traction on slippery paths, and the quality feels excellent throughout. I would recommend pairing them with thick socks in colder weather, as they are not lined for warmth, but otherwise they are comfortable enough for all day wear.Posted on
