Any two dimensional measuring tool like a ruler is only an approximation of your size. Across different manufacturers the lasts and patterns vary slightly so sizing may also vary as a result. We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
They are well made and good quality boots and with a brand like Barbour you'd expect to pay over £100, but it still hurts! That aside, I've worn them for 3 weeks straight now, and the soles are holding up really well, and the leather wipes down very easily so they're a low maintenance boot. I regularly get compliments from friends and family which is always nice x
