We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
I wore these daily whilst away on holiday last month and they stood up really well. The soles are moulded to the shape of your foot which makes them really comfortable. Also, there are no fabric components so they're able to get completely wet and they simply dry out within 30 minutes or so.
