Any two dimensional measuring tool like a ruler is only an approximation of your size. Across different manufacturers the lasts and patterns vary slightly so sizing may also vary as a result. We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
These aren't cheap by any stretch but they're comfortable straight out the box. The gold piece on the top isn't as shiny in the photos which is good as I prefer an understated look.
