Any two dimensional measuring tool like a ruler is only an approximation of your size. Across different manufacturers the lasts and patterns vary slightly so sizing may also vary as a result. We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
They look more expensive than what they are in my opinion. The leather is consistent and as photographed. Sizing was a little big for me (maybe a quarter size) but with thick socks, I found them comfortable.
Yet to see how well they stand up to wear, but the soles seem good quality.
