Constructed on a genuine double weight Goodyear welted leather sole, this boot is built for longevity and support. The Goodyear welt process involves stitching the upper, insole and sole together with a leather welt, allowing for multiple sole replacements over time. It also improves water resistance and provides enhanced structure and stability underfoot.
The rich chestnut leather is burnished by hand for a slightly antiqued look and is paired with a full wingtip brogue pattern, storm welt edging and brass reinforced eyelets for added strength. A 35 millimetre stacked leather heel with brass pinning and a quarter rubber tip offers a combination of grip and durability.

Really well made boot
I saw this very boot in a different colour in my local store but preferred this shade of brown so I decided to buy it from here. They are quite pricy at £200 but they feel like they'll last a generation! Very sturdy without being too heavy.
Last thing to mention is that I spoke with a lady called Sharon prior to the purchase and she was very helpful, even sending me a photo of the pair I'd actually receive. I went with a size UK 10 which was nice and roomy, perfect for two pairs of socks which is what I'd normally wear for this style of boot.Posted on

Superb quality and very well made
I was looking for a proper country style boot with traditional build quality and these Arthur Knight brogues really impressed me. The chestnut leather has a lovely depth to it and the burnished finish gives them a rich, slightly vintage character. They felt solid from the first wear but not too stiff.
The Goodyear welt was a big selling point for me. You can really feel the extra support it offers and it is reassuring to know I can have them resoled when the time comes. The grip is good too, thanks to the rubber insert on the heel.
They work well with jeans or cords and feel like a boot that will only get better with age. Delivery was quick and the presentation was top notch. Would absolutely recommend.Posted on
