Any two dimensional measuring tool like a ruler is only an approximation of your size. Across different manufacturers the lasts and patterns vary slightly so sizing may also vary as a result. We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
For the money, you can't really beat this brogue. It's as good as my Loake's at double the money. I found the colour to be pretty accurate to the photos (perhaps a touch darker in real life) and the fit to be spot on.
Delivery was by Royal Mail which was surprisingly fast and efficient. Happy customer.
