Additional description
Get your hands on this limited edition, high quality Italian leather Gibson in snakeskin. The Gibson is another term for Derby, and is characterised by its distinctive quarters with the eyelets sewn on top of the vamp. The Derby was a popular sporting and hunting boot in the 1800s, and by the turn of the 20th century it was worn more frequently by gentlemen in town.
One thing that is particularly eye-catching about this men's Gibson is its tan viper snakeskin print, which darkens towards the toe, creating a smart yet unusual and unique appearance. It features 5 eyelets on each side of the upper, which supports strong, hand waxed laces. This is particularly useful for those with a high instep as it provides a far superior fit to closed lacing systems.
The double weighted leather sole, padded leather collar, stacked 29mm heel and cleated rubber inserts give this men's shoe plenty of durability as well as long lasting comfort, so you can wear it for many years as frequently or infrequently as you like.
How you wear this men's snakeskin Gibson depends on whether you're more of a 'Lenny Kravitz' or 'Harry Styles'. If you're going for the 'Lenny look', we recommend pairing this striking shoe with a skinny or slim fit pair of black jeans, tan belt and button-up shirt. If you're feeling particularly rock and roll, you could even try a pair of black leather trousers instead. For the 'Harry look', try more relaxed slim fit blue denim jeans, a long sleeved simple black pullover and a charcoal or brown jacket.
Please note that normal high street shops with high overheads would charge a minimum of £300 for this exact shoe, which goes some way to explaining why we are the exclusive stockists of this style in the country.
