Any two dimensional measuring tool like a ruler is only an approximation of your size. Across different manufacturers the lasts and patterns vary slightly so sizing may also vary as a result. We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
Lovely pair of wellies which I now use daily. Arrived neatly packaged within a couple of days and fit like a glove (with thick socks). I'd say in terms of sizing, you're best staying with your usual size as it seems Barbour has allowed a little extra room for thick socks.
Comfortable to walk long distances. What else is there to say?! They're great wellies! x
