The one-piece wholecut pattern is one of the most expensive and complex cuts as it consumes a large piece of leather with no option to cut around natural defects. A single leather tab at the rear with classic Sweeney "O" and "S" stitching on the heel completes the upper.

Any two dimensional measuring tool like a ruler is only an approximation of your size. Across different manufacturers the lasts and patterns vary slightly so sizing may also vary as a result. We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
The fit was excellent straight out of the box and the leather lining feels incredibly soft during wear. I’ve worn them to a wedding, the office and a couple of formal dinners already and they always attract compliments.
The green leather sole is also a really classy touch that gives the shoe some personality.
