We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
A lovely, shorter Chelsea boot, short fur- lined, which I didn’t find out about until I tried on the boots after my stay in hospital going through chemotherapy and very sick. By the time I got out of the hospital, I was 15 pounds lighter and looking forward to a nice and warm pair of boots to keep my undernourished and skinny self warm while caring for my horses, only to find I got fur-lined boots, with just the right amount of fur. You can’t tell from the outside that they are fur lined, so they have a very tidy appearance. Not a fan of the fuzzy-looking boots with faux fur hanging out and cheapening the look of the whole boot. I’m so pleased with the smooth and easy to clean sillhouette of these boots and would recommend , these handsome boots that aren’t too tall for what they are supposed to be, ankle boots . I like an ankle boot that stop at my ankles. Not an unreasonable request, in my opinion. I was in hospital for well over a month and it wasn’t expected, obviously, or I would not have ordered them until I got home from the hospital ordeal and would have missed out. I like the color and I like the look of the boot very much. No breaking- in required. Always a bonus! ????

Highly recommend this style for winter wear. Lovely and warm inside and made on a sturdy feeling sole. I particularly like the fact it's not a high chelsea boot. Fit true to size for me as an eu 38 (ordered a 5 uk).
