Any two dimensional measuring tool like a ruler is only an approximation of your size. Across different manufacturers the lasts and patterns vary slightly so sizing may also vary as a result. We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
The shoes arrived quickly via Royal Mail and were exactly as photographed & described above. I found the fit to be pretty much my normal size, perhaps ever so slightly generous (worth noting that they come in EU sizes).
Downsides are that they're expensive at £94 and they don't seem to offer any other colours. DM
