Any two dimensional measuring tool like a ruler is only an approximation of your size. Across different manufacturers the lasts and patterns vary slightly so sizing may also vary as a result. We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
I highly recommend these training shoes. Purchased in the January sale for £64 and can't fault them for quality. The gold patches aren't too shiny and the TH logo on the side is raised in relief which is a nice feature - something you can't really tell from the photos. Fit was true to size (came in EU size).
