Any two dimensional measuring tool like a ruler is only an approximation of your size. Across different manufacturers the lasts and patterns vary slightly so sizing may also vary as a result. We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.
One thing to watch is the actual colour. I found the 'mahogany' leather to be more like the outdoor photo above (which I prefer) rather than the no-backround photos. RF
