They were designed by the founder of Clarke’s shoes, Nathan Clarke, who was stationed with the army in Egypt when he noticed the officers needed a robust boot for their downtime that could stand up to the harsh conditions. From there, the idea for desert boots came to life and the boot is now a popular choice amongst walkers for everyday outdoor wear.

It features a simple two eyelet lacing system supporting a beige lace, and comes with a light grey lace so that you can mix and match.
